Big Brother Watch Party - July 21st 2024

 Here we go again...

Chelsie and Cedric were downgraded.

Makensy and Quinn were upgraded.  Tonight we'll learn what the upgrade is.

We have a round of VERY EXCITED INTRODUCTIONS!

A lot more 30+ than usual.  Have 20-somethings given up on BB?

Here comes Ainsley, asking for Have-Not volunteers: Tucker, Cam, Kimo and Quinn jump right in and volunteer.  Has volunteering ever helped anyone's game?

Matt and Kenney are bonding.  But they have so much in common, Matt will definitely figure out the lie.

And, of course, we're going to try and have a women's alliance already.

 Angela also seems to be playing too hard too early.  She's being abrasive as well.  I smell a melt down at some point.

Who the hell brings edible glitter?

Makensy gets "America's veto" which is a regular veto but then America gets to pick the replacement.  Interestingly, the replacement will only find out on eviction night.  That could be awkward.

Quinn got the "deep fake HOH".  He can strip the HOH of all their power by controlling the nominations.

I'm guessing it's time for the HOH.  The "humans" have been summoned into the living room.

New "twist": 3 nominations instead of 2.  Although didn't we do this a couple of seasons ago but the 3rd person came off before eviction night.

I'm a little confused.  The HGs are saying they won't know who the nominees are until the last minute.  But that can't work with the POV.  What am I missing?  [I guess I'll have to wait and see.]

We play "New Rule" - in every round, Ainsley will create a new rule.  This should be interesting.

Cedric and Chelsie were downgraded so they are dressed as AI chip mascots.

1. Round 1 - Create teams of 3.  Last two picked are out. Tucker and Makensy end up out because they took too much time trying to strategize a team while the other people just grabbed the two people next to them.

2. Round 2 - Each player on the team will shoot a puck and the get points for where the puck lands (shuffleboard like).  Team with the most total points can pick any team to eliminate. Even though Quinn went off the board, Quinn, Kenney and Matt win round 2 and choose to eliminate the team of Brooklyn, Rabina and Kimo.

3. Round 3 - Now they play against their own team.  High player goes to the final round, the other two teammates are eliminated. 

Matt scores 17, Quinn scores 0 again, and Kenney scores a 22 and moves to the Final.

Ken scores zero, Leah scores 24 and Lisa gets zero.  Leah moves on.

Joe scores 23, Angela scores 27.  Angela moves on

Angela is on the verge of hysteria in her diary room.  She really needs to take a chill pill - or maybe the whole bottle.  She's hyper and it is wearing on me, so I can only imagine how the other HGs feel.

4. Final Round - Highest ODD number wins.  Even numbers count as zero.  Talk about random. Leah gets 26 which is a zero.  Angela scores 23.  Kenney scores a legitimate zero with the puck going off the board.  Angela wins HOH!!!  And the angels wept.

We get another obnoxious diary room from Angela.  She didn't come on to be their "mama", even though she's been calling herself "mama" all day.  And now Angel-a weeps at the thought of having to nominate three HGs.

Angela goes to Joe, T'Kor and Chelsie and tells them they are good and she wants to work with them.  They form an alliance for now and promise to share information.

Matt is talking too much in front of Chelsie and Joseph.  He is complaining again about how Angela keeps making comments to him about being handsome and having a showmance.  He tells them he thinks Angela is going after him.  Chelsie thinks he's arrogant and should have shut up.  Joseph, of course, goes straight to Angela to share the information with Angela.

Angela says she had no intention of putting Matt on the block UNTIL NOW!

Well, that didn't take long.  Quinn outs himself to Angela on the 1st day!  Way to keep a secret, Agent Quinn.

Angela wants to nominate Kenney and is still considering the other 2.  She's taking suggestions to try and minimize the blood on her hands.

Lisa gets mentioned by a lot of people because they find her "out there".

Angela and Matt are having a heart-to-heart.  It's going well until Matt all but threatens Angela by saying he's the wrong person to put on the block when he has two shots to remove himself and he's got house support. Angela feels, rightly, threatened.

And here come the nomination...

Angela nominates...Tucker looks nauseated.

Angela nominates Lisa, Kimo, and Kenney.  Angela breaks into tears.  And her sole explanation is a lack of game talk with them.

In the diary room, Angela admits that Kenney is her real target.
