Big Brother Watch Party - July 18th 2024
Day 2 - the second 8! It was great to see The OLD GANG again. Hope to see the Wednesday crowd again and an addition or two tonight! Here come the 2nd eight houseguests... And we're off... Quinn from Omaha...big hair. World record for standing on one foot while blind-folded. His parents are very proud...??? He's 5'6". It's the little people season. Brooklyn is a married mom of 3 and a pageant coach. Former Mrs. America. She's also Native American. She's a superfan. Matt is a software sales exec from Georgia. He's a self-proclaimed Urban Cowboy. He's very family oriented. Philippino mom. He's "very single" and wants to hook up in the House. Lisa is a "celebrity chef" - does that mean she's supposed to be famous or flips burgers for celebrities? She calls herself a "vibe curator". This continues the Big Brother tradition of egomaniacs and Narcissists. Leah is an entrepreneur & cocktail waitres
As you know Kenny won the veto and the replacement nominee for him was Tucker. So now it is Tucker, Angela and Lisa on the block!
ReplyDeleteThanks Joe-Baby. They were wavering between Lisa & Angela this week, but Lisa won. They think there is plenty of time to deal with Angela. Depending on AI, of course.
ReplyDeleteLots of worry about Angela blowing up at eviction. They are all maneuvering to avoid it. Blowing up about all the alliances around her, and Quinn's power.

ReplyDeleteIt's Tuesday morning, and most HGs are still awake, fun chatting before sleepytime. The rock room: TKor, Cedric, Kimo & Cam talking showmances. Leah & Cam have been flirting a lot, but both have decided to keep it at flirting only! The downlow showmance brewing is actually Rubina & Tucker. He really digs her look. They vibe well. But it will not go past that.
ReplyDeleteIn the HaveNot room, we have MJ, Rubi & Leah (Lisa is roaming) - all game talk & the woes of being Have Nots. The room is apparently pretty cold.
The target for eviction Thursday seems to go from Lisa to Angela on a fairly regular basis. Angela keeps cornering people, wanting votes promised. She has threatened to blow-up Quinn's game if she is evicted. Other HGs have noticed that nice Quinn has been hardened by Angela. Most avoid being alone with her. At one point, Angela did tell Kenney that she has a huge secret and she will share it with him when/if she is evicted.
The Tucker v Lisa feud rages on. He hates her. It's not just a chef thing. LOL In fact most ALL the HGs contribute to cooking, Lisa cooks the least. Weird.
Lisa borrowed Cedric's sweatshirt to sleep in, and asked him to spray his cologne on it so she can cuddle with it. Uhm...
Joe had a camera talk with us in the wee hours, giving himself a pep talk. He actually likes Lisa, wishes people would chill on hating her. (I agree. She is a kookykabuki, but not mean-spiritied)

DeleteAngela upset people again today. Whenever she's on camera, we get fish. But before Skippy (feed camera guy) got wise to Ang's antics, we saw her call Lisa a twit to her face, "and everyone in the house thinks so, too!". Lisa just walked away. Then she lowkey went after Tucker while he was showering, wanting to know what he has been talking to Quinn about.
ReplyDeleteEveryone else was all together, laughing, playing pool, etc. They are locked inside tonight.
Only Ang is alone right now. She lays on the sofa in the living room, all covered up & sunglassed, saying snipey comments to the camera. Ex: "maybe you should put a PG warning on the show this week"
Yeah - because you are a meanie!

Thanks for the updates Petals! I have tried watching some but it makes my brain hurt..lol...maybe when there's less people in the house I'll try again. I can't keep these people straight.Like I have no idea who Rubina is..ha

ReplyDeleteMost of the HGs (mistakenly) believe Lisa has power, a rumor started by Angela. A FEW (correctly) believe that Quinn has power, a rumor started by Angela {see, Angela tried to gain favor w/Tucker by telling him Quinn's secret, and Tucker told others, etc}. The same few know about Makeny's power.
Because AI is such a new twist, no one is sure who could win AI. It's either going to be Lisa or Angela leaving tomorrow.
Brooklyn seems to be the real "mom" of the house; she wakes early, cooks, cleans, does their hair, exercises...all while not saying very much and keeping her ears & eyes OPEN. She is close with Chelsie.
Kenney does nightly camera chats to his family at 7p (BB time). He says basically the same thing every night: hopes he is doing well, misses them, is difficult to be without them but he is strong and will do his best.

Cheryl - Rubina is easy to miss: she is only 4' tall. She was wild & kooky in her introduction video, but in the house she is rather mellow. She gets along with everyone, has a flirtation with Tucker.
ReplyDeleteBTW, no showmances are truly developing. There are flirtmances, but all seem to be focused on the prize. EXCEPT Leah, LOL. beause with Leah, being a VIP cocktail server and undie designer, flirting i part of the job. She crushes on Tucker, flirts with Cam. Still all harmless, so far (fingers crossed!).
