Big Brother Watch Party - July 18th 2024
Day 2 - the second 8! It was great to see The OLD GANG again. Hope to see the Wednesday crowd again and an addition or two tonight! Here come the 2nd eight houseguests... And we're off... Quinn from Omaha...big hair. World record for standing on one foot while blind-folded. His parents are very proud...??? He's 5'6". It's the little people season. Brooklyn is a married mom of 3 and a pageant coach. Former Mrs. America. She's also Native American. She's a superfan. Matt is a software sales exec from Georgia. He's a self-proclaimed Urban Cowboy. He's very family oriented. Philippino mom. He's "very single" and wants to hook up in the House. Lisa is a "celebrity chef" - does that mean she's supposed to be famous or flips burgers for celebrities? She calls herself a "vibe curator". This continues the Big Brother tradition of egomaniacs and Narcissists. Leah is an entrepreneur & cocktail waitres
Matt is the renom - Apparently he thinks that Kimo is the one to go - Quinn and Tucker have already lied to him that they are not voting him out.

ReplyDeleteSo. Apparently Angela is a television star. She has been on the Price is Right, and Dr Phil. So she knows her TV. That's why she was practicing her one-liners before she went off on Matt.
ReplyDeleteShe also went off on Kenny today. Since Matt is on the block with Kenny, Kenny does not want to go against him and will not campaign. So Angela went berserk again. The house is divided, again.
Just keeping up with the Angela drama is a full-time job. The rest of the time, most of the HSs got along, they all sing Happy Birthday to the camera for Kenny's daughter. It was a really sweet moment. Now they're allowed to sing Happy Birthday, but I'm not sure if they'll show it on broadcast. And then it went back to whispering, and scheming. Lisa is exceptionally paranoid and always posting herself up in a position to listen to another conversation. She kind of brings the drama on herself. Matt is campaigning quietly, but the whole incident from the other day keeps rearing its ugly head.

Hi everyone! I have been having the Dickens of a time trying to get here to your page and to save this page to my list of Blogger blogs! It has been maddening! I sooo miss Jackie and all her comments. I think of her during the show and when I think about the hamsters. I missed all of you too so I'm glad I found this page thanks to Cheryl I believe on Jackie's FB page. I wish I could save this blog to my list...wondering why I cannot???
ReplyDeleteG'morning & Happy Wednesday to everyone! So, yesterday was fairly uneventful in the house. Angela is still re-hashing the drama. She wore sunglasses inside most of the afternoon and kept herself out of the fun, in the kitchen mostly (cooking, non-house chitchat, etc). Then as each person would leave the room for any reason (laundry, bathroom), she'd follow and corner them for a long rehash of her nutty theories. She believes Lisa has a power (she doesn't).
ReplyDeleteLeah made "sushi" from canned tuna & watermelon. It took a long time in the kitchen, but people helped and it was a good time. She invited everyone to try it, Lisa was - for a chef - very sweet and complimented how great it was.
Lisa, by the way, is one of those new hippy chicks: manifest destiny, positive vibes, auras, etc. Can be intense, exhausting, off-putting. But, IMO, she has a decent heart.
Tucker DESPISES Lisa (and Matt, of course). He is very vocal about it, but will still socialize with them in group settings. I think neither Lisa or Matt realize how much Tucker hates them (it's actually kinda odd, his vitriol).
Quinn cries. A lot. We always get fish when he starts to weep.
Kenny the Cop is very homesick. He wants to go home instead of Matt, wants to give Matt the shot at win. Matt's dad is a cop, so I guess they bonded over that.
Some HGs are playing it very quiet, low-key: T'Kor, Chelsie, Joe, Cam, Brooklyn. They mix well with others, but don't add anything to the pots that Angela & Tucker stir.
Meanwhile, Matt & Makensy (MJ) are indeed showmancing. No kissing, just long chats about their mutual attraction, interests, etc. Matt wants to make the showmance official by getting in the hammock together (they haven't been physical at all yet, just declarations of affection).
As I type this, they are still awake in the backyard.

ReplyDeleteAwww just went back saw Mackenzie power. She would be Smart to safe that for herself if needed in the next few weeks. How Quinn seems to have gotten the better of the 2. But all will know it's him if he uses it because he already told Angela.Bet he's regretting that now..lol... Hopefully mac hasn't told anyone about hers.
