Big Brother Watch Party - Thursday 8/15/2024
Time to cull the herd...
And WE'RE LIVE for the eviction.
We get the obligatory summary of the week. End result: Makensy, Rubina, and Cedric are currently on the block...and Tucker is still a cocky ass. ;)
We have the "AI Arena" coming up. And don't forget, we have the "AI Instigator" twist to be announced.
It's Day 31...where does the time go?
The 8 person "Collective" could run the House, Julie tells us. But are they really together, she asks.
Quinn doesn't want to flip on the Collective until Tucker is gone. Kimo, on the other hand, thinks he's at the bottom of the alliance and considers the advantage of flipping on Cedric to weaken the Collective.
Tucker and Kimo are coaching Rubina. Rubina thinks she has an alliance with T'Kor, Brooklyn, Kimo and Tucker in the "Five Pointz" alliance. Of course, that alliance also overlaps The Collective and The Visionaries and The Pentagon. [I still need a storyboard.]
Angela is on the floor listening in on the Five Pointz discussion and then begs to join. Her begging is just really sad... They are all stunned into absolute silence. Tucker finally says "sure, why not" because he feels she's wrapped around his finger after the Veto play last week.
T'Kor and Kimo talk about only really trusting each other. Kimo makes the point that there's a lot of alliances that don't include him, which is true.
Brooklyn and Kimo talk about whether it would be Cedric or Rubina if Makensy comes down. They prefer Rubina, it seems, or at least Kimo does. But they need Lea and Makensy to be on board to avoid having to go head on with The Collective.
Just realized that I've been misspelling "Rubina", so I'm fixing it moving forward. Sorry, Rubina!
Coming up after the commercial break - The AI Arena!!!
We're back... Julie introduces us to all of the nominees, as if the 30 minutes of summaries wasn't enough.
Makensy and Cedric look nervous, more so than Rubina. the game is to roll 5 balls up a ramp and get them to stop on a blue towel - the "upload". Then they have smaller balls to knock the balls downhill - "the download". First one to upload the 5 and then download the 5 wins.
Early on, only Makensy lands one. Makensy up to 3, Cedric and Rubina at 1. Makensy at 4, Rubina at 2 and Cedric knocks his off.
We're now 4 and 4 with Rubina and Makensy.
Rubina is first to 5 and has started to knock them down. Rubina down to 1 left.
Makensy and Cedric get to 5.
Makensy literally edges out Rubina by seconds as she quickly downloads all 5. Really close at the finish. Rubina was down to 1 ball left just as Makensy got her 5th ball onto the mat. But Makensy cleared all 5 quickly and just beat Rubina to the buzzer. Nearly a photo finish!
This does make for the most interesting choice on the eviction. Otherwise, I think Makensy was the easy vote since she's not in any alliances.
Time to tell the HGs the news after the commercial break. Julie announces that Makensy won. Most of the Collective looks happy, but T'Kor actually did not. She still looks confused/upset as the rest of them congratulate Makensy.
Cedric meets with T'Kor, Kimo and Angela.
Rubina is talking to Brooklyn, whatever Brooklyn told her did not make Rubina happy.
Cedric is talking to Tucker and seems to be preparing him for Rubina leaving.
Rubina is still upset as they seem to be telling her that they need Makensy to save her.
T'Kor tries to comfort Rubina. T'Kor quickly whispers to Kimo as they head to the seats for the nominee pleas.
Rubina still tearful. Lea seems really upset also for some reason, I'm guessing she knows Rubina doesn't have the votes.
Cedric trying hard to not get emotional. He mentions that he is a screen because Tucker is going to go after him.
It's time for the live votes. The deep fake HOH can't vote. Are they going to go through the motions of pretending we don't know it's Quinn. LOL
Tucker votes to evict Cedric. Surprise.
Makensy votes to evict Cedric.
We do actually pretend that we don't know that Quinn is the "deep fake", so they send him into and immediately out of the diary room.
Leah votes to evict Cedric.
It's 3 for Cedric, zero for Rubina as we go to yet another commercial break.
We're back!
Kimo is up. This is a key vote. Kimo very tearfully votes to evict Cedric.
Chelsea votes to evict Rubina.
That makes it 4-1 for Cedric to go.
T'Korr votes to evict Cedric.
That makes it 5-1. Cedric is toast.
Brooklyn votes to evict Rubina.
Cam votes to evict Rubina
That makes it 5-3.
Joseph votes to evict Cedric, in a bit of a surprise.
So it is 6-3 and the house is going to be in turmoil.
Back to the living room. Julie announces that Cedric is leaving. He takes it pretty well, although he does point out that he shouldn't have volunteered to go on the block, "but it's okay".
The AI instigator is sprung. We get to vote for one of the HGs to be the Instigator. The AI Instigator must unleash chaos in the house by using deep fakes of the other houseguests to say things. If they do a good job, we get to decide how much money they win for their efforts.
I'm sorry, but the fake deep fakes are kind of cheesy. What use was the deep fake Angela when she's in the house saying "I didn't say that". Now we're going to have ALL of the houseguests standing there as their deep fake says something that everyone knows they didn't say.
Julie asks him if he knows who the 3 votes were. He does. He knew T'Kor and Kimo were gone.
Julie asks Cedric why he volunteered. He says it was a calculated risk and that if the got through this week, he felt he was in better shape later.

ReplyDeleteBronze!
ReplyDeleteHey Hon, Hi Sharon! I have the STELLLAAAA chillin'. It all comes down to the tweedle-dee & tweedle dum, T'Kimo. Whether or not they decide to PLAY and flip the votes.
ReplyDeleteHey folks... I saw where Auntie Leigh said she'd drop by tonight!!
ReplyDeleteI don't think T'Kor will want to... Kimo only wants to because he has a crush on Tucker
ReplyDeleteHi everyone. I really don't want Cedric to go. I hope he wins AI comp.
ReplyDeleteMonty !!!
ReplyDeleteThis is auntie Leigh, dropping in to say hi. Tv guide says tonight is an eviction. Luckily for me, I’m west coat so I won’t accidentally see the show and get “pulled back in”. Have fun tonight. Miss you all but don’t miss the stupid show and Julie’s outfits. Well, maybe I sorta do. If Glenn Allen comes back, let me know. Hi to Cheryl, Judi, Squeegee, Jon and of course the hostess with the Stella’s, Petals!
ReplyDeleteHi Auntie Leigh!
DeleteHey everyone.Petals I'll take a Stella or 10..lol
ReplyDeleteAuntie Leigh... good to see you. Glenn and Cheryl were here last night and SueGee was here the other night. JonMD passed away last season. Still miss his humor on here...
ReplyDeleteLoving some Tucker! Rumor is that it could be Wall comp tonight... Quinn - Eff off!
ReplyDelete…and Monte!
ReplyDeleteAuntie Leigh !!! Glad you popped-in... *sliding a cool STELLA to Leigh*
ReplyDelete*** STELLA to Cheryl*** Hey girl!
ReplyDeleteLeigh - I gotta admit, this season has been pretty entertaining.Like old-school BB.
ReplyDeleteT'kor actually getting some screen time
ReplyDeleteHi Cheryl
ReplyDeleteOh sorry, I mixed up Jon md who I knew passes away, so sorry, I meant to say hi to Joe.
ReplyDeleteStill breathing...just barely... ;)
DeleteHey Joe, Petals, Monty, Cheryl and Sharon!!! I actually got here on time. It’s hard being on the west coast sometimes 😜🤣😂🤣🍷
ReplyDeleteFor a super fan Quinns playing this game terribly
ReplyDeleteT'Kimo are both slugs. The only "move" they will make will be from sofa to floor.
ReplyDeletePetals, I didn't have the feeds on today... did they scroll that the HOH would be live on the feeds?
ReplyDeleteHi Judi ! Leigh - Glenn was here last night (I think)? or Sunday.
ReplyDeleteLast night, I think. Sunday got blown up by the 2 hour delay.
Deleteoh yeah...that's right. I forget that you're the brains of this operation. ;)
DeleteHey Judi!
ReplyDeletePetals, agree on T'Kimo... they are furniture at this point
Hi Auntie L!!!
ReplyDeleteSometimes I act post..now my post are doubling..wth...lol
ReplyDeleteLOL
DeleteCollectaVision5PointaGon!?! All Quinn's alliances. LOL And Brooke is also in all of them.
ReplyDeleteLmao at Angela@@
ReplyDeleteLOL with the edit
ReplyDeleteAngela is so desperate, UGH
ReplyDeleteI hope Cedric does good!!! I really like that kid!
ReplyDeleteI agree. Something about him makes me root for him. He seems sincere and sweet
DeleteThat might be a first to see someone beg to be in an alliance
ReplyDeleteTo beg to be in an alliance, you first have to admit to eavesdropping on the alliance.
DeleteI love Cedric, but it would be a good game move to blow-up the 3C alliance. BUT, I think it will be Makensy over Cedric.
ReplyDeleteWho lays down to listen in and than begs to added to the group? Let me listen in and oh yah, you can trust me as a team player (otherwise I will spill the beans on all of you)?!? Seriously!?!
ReplyDeleteIKR??? No shame in her game, huh?
Deletefor the most DO NOTHING people in the house, T'Kimo sure get a lot of camera time. Leaving slug trails all over the house.
ReplyDeleteI love the “slug trail” image! LOL…
DeleteC'Mon Rubi !!! You can do it!
ReplyDeleteGo Cedric!!
ReplyDeleteI don't to rubina has a chance in hell
ReplyDeleteGuess I typed that to soon..haha
ReplyDeleteoh nooooo That was a photo finish.
ReplyDeleteThat at least makes the vote interesting.
ReplyDeleteOh, Boy!!! Now we'll see if all the waffling favored Cedric or Rubina
ReplyDeleteThat was an amazing finish!!! Rubina had a big lead on the download but Makensy cleared them quickly and just beat her to the buzzer.
ReplyDeleteI hope Julie mentions that it Rubi was 1 second behind MJ. I want Tucker to be proud of her.
DeleteHi Everyone. MJ wins and now vote could split the house.
ReplyDeleteThis is Glenn
DeleteMakensy was cool under pressure
ReplyDeleteSurprisingly. She looked nauseated at the start. LOL. But she is an athlete which might have calmed her down.
DeleteHi Anon 5:31
ReplyDeleteHi Glenn!!
DeleteHI Glenn!!!
ReplyDeleteThe smart move is take out Cedric...but I don't know if they have the guts.
ReplyDeleteThis is not the way I wanted this week to go
ReplyDeleteRubina should be the obvious vote for the anti-Tucker crowd. I'm not sure why you'd leave him a solid partner. If you vote out Cedric, you are basically joining the Tucker alliance...er the Five PointZZZZZ
ReplyDeleteClever. I like the ZZzzzs
DeleteLmao..nope hugs all around again
ReplyDeleteThis is rough.
ReplyDeleteJulie finally got her wish, LOL
ReplyDeleteright??
DeleteHi Glenn! I agree Joe… I can’t see them want to leave a showmance together!
ReplyDeleteGrrrr T'Kimo STILL unsure. SLUGS
ReplyDeleteoh wow... wow.
ReplyDeleteWhat's up with Quinn's felony pants???
ReplyDeletehe tries TOO HARD to be a character. He is so thirsty for camera time.
DeleteWow!!!!
ReplyDeleteWell, it's all up to T'Kimo now... they got Leah and Makensy
ReplyDeleteThose were easier as they are unaligned. T'Korr and Kimo are in an even worse shape if they vote out Cedric. They may be at the bottom of the alliance, but they are in one. If they break ranks, they are going to have to join Tucker which would put them at the bottom of that group, as well as making themselves targets.
DeleteIt will be more interesting if they vote out Cedric because it will cause the Visionaries, The Pentagon and The Collective to either collapse or to re-form.
ReplyDeleteBrooklyn is in opposing alliances, right? She's going to have to pick one
ReplyDeleteThey all are being forced to pick here. It is actually better for us if Cedric goes. LOL. It causes a massive rearrangement.
DeleteTrue, but I will miss Cedric. He was foolish for going up as a pawn, but still
DeleteCedric leaving could blow up the House
ReplyDeleteOh no. This is not going my way
ReplyDeleteI love Cedric, he is a GOOD KID. And very pretty. He will land straight-up on his feet. But I want to see a good shake-up. Their faces will be PRICELESS
Deleteand TweedleDum says...CEDRIC!!!
ReplyDeleteDamn!!!
ReplyDeleteIt’s Glenn!! Ready to ride out another hurricane with only a generator and a case of Pepsi? I’ve never gotten over that…oh, this is auntie Leigh again. I asked everyone to tell me if Glenn showed up. Not watching the show but getting tempted by seeing you all having so much fun?

DeleteWell as he should
ReplyDeleteThis is gonna be good
ReplyDeleteThe SLUGS deserve to lose
ReplyDeleteI still like Cedric
ReplyDeleteMe too 😭😭
DeleteGood for Tucker because I have a feeling that T'Kimo will be targeted now
ReplyDeleteThis comment has been removed by the author.
ReplyDeleteTucker would be the best at this instigating
ReplyDeleteI'm voting Angela...I don't want any heat coming down on Tucker.
ReplyDeleteParty People, we now have a GAME
ReplyDeleteI don't know that Angela is creative enough
ReplyDeletewe only choose her to take the blame for it. Ainsley makes up the mean things to say.
ReplyDeleteOh! I misunderstood
DeleteWell, I have no favorites now… let the blood bath begin… Bye, bye floaters… bye bye…
ReplyDeleteSame!

ReplyDeleteThx from auntie Leigh. I. Going to try to figure out how to comment as auntie Leigh but so far…I’m too old for this stuff and have no grandchildren to teach it to me. By for now to all of you and that for inviting me, Petals.
ReplyDeleteI love the updates as I was at the ball field with my grandson. I’ll watch now or in the morning. But I’ll be back to read your posts Petals!
