Big Brother Watch Party - Thursday August 22, 2024

Will Quinn and Tucker become the Dynamic Duo?  If they do, which one is Batman and which one is Robin?

Julie and the Announcer make fun of The Pentagon.  Julie reminds us that they were "once a power alliance" but after tonight "all they'll be is one member fewer".

We then get the recap where we see, again, what we saw last night.  Net result: Cam, Chelsie and Brooklyn are on the block.

And now we're live with Julie.  "It is Day 38..."  Tucker has 6 victories in the last 10 comps he entered. The BB AAI Arena is, however, beyond Tucker's control.  After Tucker "blew up another Veto meeting..." it left the three nominees "scrambling to save their games".

Tucker manages to tell us what he's thinking without strutting.  He must be sick.

Chelsie campaigns with Quinn.  Quinn makes nice but says he's afraid of her coming after him.

Brooklyn politics Tucker.  So far, Brooklyn is doing more strutting than Tucker on the show, even though she's won nothing so far.

Chelsie talks to Rubina.  She's mad at Quinn and Joseph.  Rubina tells us she's a proud, strong woman who wants to work with other proud, strong women.  So the sex card has been played after the race card was played, so there's that.

Tucker wants Chelsie gone.  However, T'Kor, Rubina and the others are thinking of "flipping the vote" on Tucker and voting Cam out.  I'm not sure it really matters other than it might piss off Tucker and he's a wild card.

Off to the AAI arena.  It's a picture puzzle combined with a word game.  They have to construct three pictures using different picture elements in a box.  They find out what goes where by decoding the words from a bunch of swimming letters which tells them whether to put the unicorn in the now or in the field.

Chelsie WINS THE VETO!  [Making the 15 minutes they spend showing us Rubina and T'Kor trying to decide whether to save Chelsie a total waste of our time.]

We're back from commercial and Julie announces to the HGs that Chelsie won.  They are ALL so (pretend) happy...

Brooklyn tells everyone that Tucker is afraid of her and she's a shield.  She tells them she'll go up every week and they are safe as long as she stays.

Julie then calls them to the chairs for the speeches.

Cam says he will work with everyone and please vote for him.  He then sits down and says "...TO STAY..." as he remembers they are voting to go.  LOL.

Brooklyn thanks her Savior, the Lord Jesus despite the fact that He didn't save her from the block.  [Yes, I know.  Flame away.]  She reiterates her desire to help everyone else win.

Is anyone ever convinced by these speeches?

Chelsie votes to evict Cam.

Leah votes to evict Brooklyn.

We'll vote more after the commercials!

Quinn votes to evict Brooklyn.

Makensy votes to evict Brooklyn.

Rubina votes to evict Brooklyn.  [So much for working with women. She's voting as her Man wants.]

Kimo votes to evict Brooklyn.  [Brooklyn is cooked with 5.]

T'Kor votes Brooklyn.

Angela votes Brooklyn.

Joseph votes Brooklyn.

Julie tells the HGs that, by a vote of 8-1, Brooklyn is evicted.

Brooklyn is talking to Julie.  She calls Chelsie "my girl".  Quinn is a snake.  Brooklyn was a threat which is why she's out.

Angela's good-bye message calls out Brooklyn for the charcuterie theft again.  SMH...  The whole audience breaks into laughter.

No live HOH competition as we are wrapping the show.
