Big Brother Watch Party - July 18th 2024
Day 2 - the second 8! It was great to see The OLD GANG again. Hope to see the Wednesday crowd again and an addition or two tonight! Here come the 2nd eight houseguests... And we're off... Quinn from Omaha...big hair. World record for standing on one foot while blind-folded. His parents are very proud...??? He's 5'6". It's the little people season. Brooklyn is a married mom of 3 and a pageant coach. Former Mrs. America. She's also Native American. She's a superfan. Matt is a software sales exec from Georgia. He's a self-proclaimed Urban Cowboy. He's very family oriented. Philippino mom. He's "very single" and wants to hook up in the House. Lisa is a "celebrity chef" - does that mean she's supposed to be famous or flips burgers for celebrities? She calls herself a "vibe curator". This continues the Big Brother tradition of egomaniacs and Narcissists. Leah is an entrepreneur & cocktail waitres
Sunday night: The 6th Avenue crew (Tuck, Rubi, T'Kimo, Angela & Joe) met in the HOH to solify the plan to renom Chelsie in place of Quinn, whom Tucker will save with his Veto.
ReplyDeleteRubina & T'Kor had a girls talk about...boys. Rubina really likes Tucker but is holding back. She wishes she could be as fearless as he. T'Kor gave her advice - put yourself first, etc. Then T"Kor lamented more about not sticking with the POC (her term) alliance. She has mad guilt about Cedric, Cam, Chelsie all being nommed/targets.
Joe & Angela went to bed in HaveNot room and game-talked. Joe let it slip that, while he is loyal to Tucker, he thinks none will have a chance against him in final and he'll need to be taken care of in the final weeks. Will Angela report this back to Tuck?
Indeed, Tucker used his veto to remove Quinn and put Chelsie up in his place. Bwhahaha.. That dude likes to shake things UP! Can't wait 'til Wednesday to see their faces. (see, Chels & Brook have been working on him to nom Kimo in place of Brook).
ReplyDeleteSorry, that was me posting as Anon, from work. Anyway, HGs were appropriately shocked at Tuckers Veto Ceremony. He outed the Collectagon, which Makeny & Leah were NEVER a part of. So Leah goes into the backyard, ranting about she "knew they were lies on top of lies" and "own your actions" (to Brook & Chelsie, but just yelling in general).

Deletefrom Petals: More fallout. Brooklyn is mad. She is going around saying "I'm as good a player as Tucker, I just haven't won anything and I have no alliances". What a lie! Chelsie is equally spinning out of control. Leah is mostly angry because when Tucker outed the alliances, Mak & Leah both realized that they weren't included in ANY of them. So Leah is particularly salty.

ReplyDeleteTuesday & Overnight - Chelsie & Brooklyn, both on the block, are spinning-out. They are both glued to Rubina, whom they think has a great influence on Tucker. Rubi is aware that she has 2 brand new besties, and she knows why. She chats nicely with them, but she knows where she REALLY stands.
ReplyDeleteBrooklyn is seething...Tucker is her #1 target. Cam is sitting pretty, no worries.
T'Kimo have been getting more social, even taking conversations with other people! But not for long, they are always within 10 ft of the other. When Kimo goes to bed, T'Kor & Rubi lounge & visit. The late night crew.
Angela is just ...there. She is a Have Not, so she sleeps a lot of the day. [By the way - BB used to yell "no napping" when they slept during the day. Not so much now; they all nap all day]. Angela's birthday was last week, right when she became a Have Not, so her main contribution to conversation this week is reminding the HGs and BB what she wants to eat, what kind of cake she wants, etc, since she plans to celebrate it Wed at midnight.
MJ & Leah are kind of lost. They have a rivalry for "prettiest one in the house", but they still chat.
BOTH are flumoxed about why Tucker is so crazy about Rubina. Both have - on different occasions - gone to the HOH room, trying to flirt, etc. They both police Rubi too, not giving her much alone time with Tucker (Rubi & Tuck still find time to cuddle, it's very PG & sweet).
Joe & Quinn? Oh, those two guys? They are LUCKY that Tucker wants interesting people around him! Both being superfans, and Joe having gone to film schools (as Tucker has, too), he finds alot to discuss with them outside the game. He likes the conversations & competition.
BUT, both Joe & Quinn know that Tucker is a threat and will for sure try to backdoor him the minute they get an opportunity.
No kerfuffles or brouhahas have happened, just a lot of chaos since Tuck removed Quinn from the block.

PS - Leah picked her nose and ate the booger. I didn't see it, I read about it. After she did it, she realized he did it in front of Kimo. Wow. ICK.
