BIG BROTHER 2025 Watch Party - July 10th

 Hi folks,

Cheryl asked me to create a home so here it is.  I'll try to keep up and we can at least watch.  I don't do live feeds so you're on your own for those. 

I will try to live blog it once my night class ends next week.

Expect the unexpected...

SURPRISE!!!  I got out early... someone tell me what I missed in the first 25 minutes.  Lol

I like a good mystery... but why do I think the mysteries will all be lame.  Lol. 90% of these themes end up falling kind of flat for me. 

In a BB first (through the magic of photography) Julie disappeared leaving only a shoe behind.

 

Took 5 minutes, but the "mystery" theme already has gone full on cornball with the introduction of "The Mastermind".

Julie manages to make a phone call from captivity... the Mastermind not such a Mastermind.  The HGs split into 2 teams.  One to find Julie and one to find the "BB relic" which is apparently super important. 

The Julie Hunt consists of looking behind 8 doors (one per HGs).  This comp looks kind of random.  They need to build a puzzle that will get them to the right door. 

The Cowboy throws the first comp as does Mickey.

Once you get past the puzzle, you have to listen at each for and figure out which recorded statement is true and which is false. 

Zach gets to the right for first and wins... but we don't yet know what he won.

Next up, the other 8 will search for the relic. 

The hint for the relic is based on finding clues to what the real relic looks like as it is hidden in plain site along a group of imperfect fakes. 

The remix is a rectangle and there are 4 gems on it and 4 keys. The gems are different colors and the colors are located in student places. 

Keanu picks one quickly and falls thrift the floor colored by 2 other wrong guesses.  And another and another.  Finally there are 2 left and Jimmy wins... again, we don't know what. 

We're back from commercial for the prize reveal.  Zach wins $10,000 and Jimmy wins the right to choose the only 4 people who can compete for the HOH.  Yikes, that may be more of a curse than a prize. 

Jimmy decides he will choose himself and his on an interview tour to find the other 3. About half of them tell him outright that they don't want to win. Jimmy is trying to figure out who he can trust to not put him up if they win. 

Jimmy chooses himself, Adrian, Ashley, and Vince. [Ashley immediately tells the DR she doesn't want to win. ]

After the break... the HOH competition begins and we will meet the MYSTERY HOUSE GUEST.

We're back.  The HOH comp is called "Destroy the Lair" (belonging to the Mastermind, of course).  They have to balance some balls on the end of some poles.  

It must be harder than it looks or they are all trying to throw it because they are dropping the balls all over the place.

Vince wins! Barely.  They had to balance for 10 seconds.  His balanced for 11 seconds.  It literally fell apart one second after the timer went off. 

We get fake video of a fake explosion on a wooded cliff that is nowhere near LA. LOL

We're back.  They are making the BB Blockbuster which is the AI Arena from last season: the HOH nominates 3 people who gave off to win safety for one of them. 

The (dumb) Mastermind is back to send in the 17th HG who is Rachel (just like Monty wanted).

Rachel looks much older to me, but she's still loud.  Lol.  I always liked her though. 

Rachel is not the 17th HG, however.  The dumb Mastermind comes on to say that one of the first 16 was actually his accomplice.  If they can find the accomplice he/she gets booted.  If they don't, the accomplice becomes the 17th HG.

I think it's me...
